death and dawn

The blazing light

Cutting scarlet lines on my eyes

The baton

Paints

And paints

Blue and green pattern

On the canvas of my skin

Enough

The craze for water and rest

Weak is my spirit

As well as my body

Will sign anything to meet your will

They took us kneeling by the muddy river bank

Sky

Colorful before dawn

I can feel the sudden blow behind my skull

I can hear the birds singing and the roaring thunder

I can taste the sweet and salty fluids coming down my face

I can see the shining dewdrops of the green grass as they come

Crushing down to meet me
